Harry J. Mancini, 84, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. He was born in Stamford on September 25, 1931 to the late Harry J. and Camilla Mancini.
Harry was a Barber for fifty years at George’s Hair Cutters of Stamford before retiring in 1986 and an avid Yankees fan. He was a veteran in the US Army, having served during the Korean War.
He is survived by his loving daughter Donna M. Dellacorte and her husband Andrew of Stamford, a loving son Dennis Mancini and his wife Andrea of Stamford, three grandchildren Matthew and Andrew Dellacorte, Jr and Emma Mancini, as well as two great grandchildren Katelyn and Caroline Dellacorte.
Besides his parents, Harry was predeceased by his wife Donata Marie Colucci Mancini.
Funeral services and Interment will be private.
The Mancini family requests that donations be made in Harry’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
