Helen Mary Gesualdi, 94, a resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2013. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 6, 1919 to the late Saverio and Catherine Rainone Gesualdi .
Helen and her family moved to Stamford in 1922 from Philadelphia. She worked as a seamstress in various companies including her last employment at Southern Mills, Inc. of Stamford.
Helen is survived by her niece Catherine Hess and her nephew John Mori ,Sr. both of Stamford ,as well as many other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Horace Gesualdi, Jennie Gesualdi Mori, Joseph Gesualdi, Concetta Gesualdi Wolven and Mildred Gesualdi.
A graveside service was held privately at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. There were no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 is honored to assist the Gesualdi family with the arrangements.
