Helen G. Maiko

Helen G. Maiko, 93 of Stamford passed away on Wed. Feb. 22, 2006.
Born in Greenwich on September 8, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Suzanne Oboza Gregor.
Mrs. Maiko was a retired secretary having worked in the legal profession for many years. She was a member of the Byram Sokol Clubhouse, a lifelong parishioner of St. Pauls Lutheran Church of Byram, and the Darien AARP.
Survivors include a daughter Gloria Langmuir of Stamford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was precdeceased by her husband Joseph Maiko, a son Robert Maiko, and a brother George Gregor.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church 286 Delavan Ave. in the Byram section of Greenwich on Mon. Feb. 27, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye, NY.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Mrs. Maikos name to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897.
