Henricus Van Baaren

Henricus “Hans” M.B.J van Baaren, 89, Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at his home. Born in Schoonhoven, The Netherlands, on October 28, 1922 to the late Henricus and Johanna van Alphen van Baaren.
Hans was employed by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for over 40 years. He loved to collect stamps, tell stories, and greatly enjoyed traveling.
Mr. van Baaren is survived by his daughter Myriam and her husband Tom Little of Stamford, CT. A son Harry van Baaren and his wife Margaret Silver van Baaren, of Gill MA. His grandchildren Stephen and Kaitlyn Little, of Stamford, CT and Simon, Max, and Lily van Baaren of Gill, MA. Brother Joep van Baaren and his wife Loek of Holland, brother Ben van Baaren and his wife Gerti of Austria and his brother Jan van Baaren and his wife Patricia of England. Also surviving are his 4 nephews Matthias, Richard, Arnoud, and Arthur, along with his goddaughter and niece Conchita and nieces Charlotte and Yvonne.
Besides his parents Hans is pre-deceased by his beloved wife Luduina G. Th. Kiphardt van Baaren, their daughter Marie Christine van Baaren and a sister Ine van Baaren and her husband Hans Mekenkamp.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Leos Parish; 24 Roxbury Road Stamford, CT on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00AM There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in The Netherlands, Holland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations will be made to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897
