Henrietta Lucy Crocco, 107, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at St. Camillus Health Care. She was born in Stamford on December 12, 1908 to the late Michael and Anna Sabatina Interlandi.
Henrietta was a textile pattern and sample maker with various companies in New York City as a young woman and then later on she worked for Bloomingdale’s of Stamford as a personalized stationary specialist for thirty years.
She is survived by her siblings, Gloria Kapteina, Joseph Interlandi and his wife Irene, Anne Carlucci, Raymond Interlandi all of Stamford, as well as several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces and great grand nephews.
Besides her parents, Henrietta was predeceased by her sisters, Concetta Pirri, Mary Conca, Sara Arcano, Angela Pirre, Corinne C. Pace, Clara Interlandi and three brothers Salvo, Michael and Sebastian Interlandi.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning, January 11, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 AM.
