Herbert Launiere, Jr.

Herbert G. Launiere, Jr., beloved husband of June Pomazi-Launiere, died peacefully on Sunday, August 6, at the age of 63. Mr. Launiere was born and raised in Norwalk, beloved son of the late Herbert G. Sr. and Mildred Carier Launiere. Mr. Launiere lived in Weston for the past 30 years.
A friend to all who met him, �"Herb was a kind man known for his sense of humor. Mr. Launiere was an electrician for 37 years and took great pride in his work.
He was a U.S Army veteran and honorably served in Europe.
In addition to his wife of 38 years, Mr. Launiere is survived by his beloved son, Mark D. Launiere and his wife Renee K. Launiere of Atlanta, GA; beloved daughter, Renee M. Michaelson and her husband Mark R. Michaelson and granddaughter, Rochelle O. Michaelson of Oceanside, CA; beloved sister, Lynn Buono; brother-in-law, �"brother, Robert Buono, Sr.; sister-in-law MaryAnn Conetta; and several nephews.
Services and burial were private. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902, assisted the family with arrangements.
