Howard Tooter
July 19, 1945 — May 1, 2017
Howard Tooter passed away at his home in Stamford, Connecticut early Monday morning.
A graduate of Columbia University, Howard joined the home furnishings company P. Kaufmann Inc in 1979 where he was a Senior Executive and President of its Folia Division.
He was also President of The Umbrella Club, an organization that helped children in need.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Jacqui, his sons Scott and Adam, his daughters-in-law Elizabeth and Jenny and his granddaughter Isabelle.
Howard's big heart and quick wit was admired by all who knew him and made everyone he crossed paths with feel like a good friend. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 4th at 1PM on at the Rockrimmon Country Club, 2949 Long Ridge Road, Stamford, Connecticut.
