Irene Granelli

Irene Granelli, 94, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 9, 2015. Irene was born in Stamford on September 26, 1920 to the late Ernest E. and Lyda Granelli.
Irene is survived by her niece Sharon O’Reilly and her husband Dennis of Stamford, her nephew Edward Granelli and his wife Catherine of Stamford, as well as her great nieces and nephews, Kathleen and Kelly O’Reilly and David, Amy and Matthew Granelli.
Besides her parents, Irene is predeceased by her sister Viola Granelli and her brother Edward E. Granelli
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday June 13, 2015 at St. Leo’s RC Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home is honored to assist the Granelli family with the arrangements.
