Ivanka Aikler Tencie, 83, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2018 at St. Camillus Heath Care. She was born in Croatia on July 2, 1934 to the late Anthony and Maria Stanic Aikler.
Ivanka is survived by her loving sister, Eugenia Aikler and her loving brother Ivan Aikler, both of Stamford.
Besides her parents, Ivanka was predeceased by a sister Frances Engler and a brother Milan Aikler.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 9:40 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning, April 2, 2018 from 8:30-9:30 AM.
