Jacqueline L. Guarneri (Jackie), a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully with grace in the loving presence of her family on April 23, 2016. Jackie was born September 5, 1939 to Jack and Dora Pia. She graduated from Stamford High School in 1957 and then went on to graduate from Bridgeport University with a degree in elementary education.She taught at Stark School and then pioneered a program for toddlers called Tot Time before having children and dedicating her life to her family. Jackie was a prominent member and reader of her church, First Church of Christ Science and her life was spent showing kindness to others. Jackie loved life and especially cherished spending time with her family. She appreciated the little things; loved music and was known to bring sheet music to holiday celebrations for all to enjoy. Jackie’s greatest gift was that she made everyone feel special and that they truly mattered. She will be deeply missed. Jackie is predeceased by her parents Jack and Dora Pia and is survived bythe love of her life - her loving husband of 52 years, Charles J. Guarneri, her daughter Kim Femia and her husband Tony Femia, her son Charles J. Guarneri II and his wife Laura (Bayliss) Guarneri, her daughter Melissa Guarneri, her 5 grandsons Anthony, Tyler, Jack, Luke, and CJ and 4 granddaughters Kristi, Danielle, Addison and Wynter and great grandson soon to be born, as well as her loving sister Laurette Riccio and brother Vincent Pia. Jackie was a loving aunt, cousin, niece, sister, mother and wife.Jackie’s request was to have her life celebrated, not mourned. The legacy of her loving spirit will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren and all that were touched by her.A memorial service of her life will be held on Saturday, May 14,2016 at Lasdon Park & Arboretum, 2610 Amawalk Road; Rte 35; Katohah NY at 11:00AM dedicated to joyfully celebrating a beautiful soul.
