Jacqueline C. West

Jacqueline C. West, 73, previously of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Born in Norwalk on November 20, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Irving William and Emma Rockoff Cutler.
Jacqueline was a retired legal assistant for Cohen-Gettings and Dunham. She was also a member of the Women American Chapter of ORT, a past volunteer for Easter Seals Rehab Center of Stamford, and a former board member of Temple Sinai in Stamford.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Bob West; three sons, Dr. Gary Gruber, Seth Gruber and Edward Gruber; a sister, Marilyn Katzman; three step-daughters, Lauren Jerome, Elizabeth Smith and Sharon West; and six grandchildren, Emma Gruber, Jeffrey Gruber, Allison Smith, Sarah Gruber, Caitlyn Gruber, and Hannah Gruber.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 30 at 11:00 AM at Beth El Cemetery, Stamford, CT. There will be no calling hours. The family will be observing Shiva on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the residence of her son, Edward Gruber, of 95 Blanket Meadow Road, Monroe, CT.
