James V. Judge, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at his home in Stamford. Born July 13, 1934 in Stamford, he is the son of Dorothy T. Pecoraro Judge and the late Alfred L. Judge, Sr.

James was a sales manager at Manger Electric for over forty years until his retirement in 1998. He was a Veteran of the US Army and a US Military History buff. He was a graduate of Stamford High School Class of 1952, and attended the University of Arizona for two years. James was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, Council #41, a 50 year member; and a member of the American Legion Post #0183. He was also a past Scout Master of the Boy Scouts in the 1970’s, a past Catechist for St. Maurice RC Church, a past Big Brother with the Big Brothers Program, and was an avid bowler.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary H. Madigan Judge of Stamford; a daughter, Donna and her husband, Andrew Manjuck, of Pound Ridge, NY; and their children, Andrew, Mark, Sara, Matthew, Christopher, and Kimberly; a son, James M. and his wife, Robin Judge, of Greensboro, NC; and their children, Mary Ashley and Ryan; a son, David and his wife, Margaret Judge, of Bridgeport; and their son, Gregory; two sisters, Dorothy Mead; and Patricia and her husband, Eugene �"Fuzzy” Harris; a sister-in-law, Diane Judge; two brothers, Edward and his wife, Mary Judge, all of Stamford; and Charles and his wife, Tina Judge, of Darien. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his father, he is predeceased by his brother, Alfred L. Judge, Jr.

Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:20 AM on Friday, March 23, 2007 and proceed to St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to a charity of one’s choice. www.cognetta.com
