Jan(John) Ropicki,66, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Stamford Hospital. He was born in Poland on May 24, 1949 to the late Teodor and Antonina Juszczak Ropicki.
Jan was a former employee of Pitney Bowes before his retirement.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Emilia Bajus and her husband Jerry of Stamford, Jaroslawa Hudak and her husband Stefan of Stratford, as well as a niece and four nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 24 Wenzel Terrace, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.There will be no calling hours.
