Jane Johnson
January 15, 1944 — May 3, 2009
Jane Caruso Johnson entered into eternal life on May third at Norwalk Hospital. The daughter of the late Arthur T. Caruso and Mary McMahon Caruso, of Shippan Point in Stamford, Jane was born in Milton, Mass.
She was a long term resident of Stamford. Jane was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy of Stamford and Chestnut Hill College. She began her career with the advertising firm BBDO in New York. Later, Jane worked independently as an advertising writer. Her most important role however, was as a loving mother and wife.
Jane is survived by her husband James Robert Johnson and son James Anthony Johnson, both of Stamford: and two sisters, Anne Desy of Norwalk, and Sister Mary of Jesus, O.C.D. of Flemington, NJ, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT. Interment in the family plot will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, South Main Street, New Canaan, CT. There will be no calling hours.
