Janet M. Sabia Ferrara, 76, wife of the late Paul C. Ferrara passed away on July 31, 2021 surrounded by her loving daughters, Lori A. Ferrara of Stamford, CT, Nancy L. Ferrara Horta and her son in law, Jorge M. Horta of Naugatuck CT.
Born December 30th, 1944, a lifelong resident of Stamford CT. Janet was predeceased by her parents Patsy and Laura Sabia and brother Patsy T. Sabia of Stamford CT.
Janet passionately loved her family and friends, Elvis, doo wop concerts, crafts, participating and attending classic car shows with their 1954 Merc, everything METS and the TV show Law and Order. She loved welcoming everyone for holiday and summer gatherings along with dinners, entertaining and swimming.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory,104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 5, 2021 at 10:30AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John's Mausoleum, Darien.
