Jean Fitzmaurice

Jean M. Fitzmaurice, 81 of Stamford, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2012. Jean was born in Stamford on June 19, 1931 to the late Walter and Mary Romski Piorkowski. Jean served as clerk at the Darien Probate Court and also had worked at the Stamford Probate Court.
Besides her parents Jean is predeceased by her husband Richard H. Fitzmaurice Esq., and her two brothers Henry and Richard Piorkowski.
Jean is survived by her daughter Mary Anne Arnone and her husband Michael of Midlothian, Virginia as well as three grandchildren; Kylie, Sean and Amanda Arnone.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, on Sunday August 12, 2012 from 2:00 PM-5:00PM. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday August 13, 2012 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 PM at St. John Parish, 1986 Post Road, Darien. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
