Jeanette C. Pavia, 85, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Monday March 24, 2014 at home with her loving family by her side. Jeanette was born in Stamford on June 26, 1928 to the late Angelo and Fanny Latte Cioeta.
Her family was her whole life and what a life it was!
Jeanette is survived by her two adoring daughters, Jacqueline Bartram and her husband Bob and Angela Schumann and her husband Gary, as well as one devoted sister, Josephine Romaniello, three loving grandchildren Jaclyn Wood and her husband Eric, Tamara Pia, Nicholas F. Hanzlik Jr., and the light of her life, her great granddaughter Lilah Grace Wood.
She will be missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Jeanette is predeceased by her loving husband Giacomo “Jack” S. Pavia and her brother Vincent G. Cioeta.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 9:40 AM and proceed to Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM, by her nephew Father Nicholas Pavia. Interment will follow at St John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday March28, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
