Jeanne Yvonne Zito, 89, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on March 29, 1927 to the late John and Evelyn Deveau Rea.
Yvonne enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting and excelled in all. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed.
Jeanne is survived by her loving sons Brian C. Zito and his wife Judith, Wayne S. Zito and her loving daughter Deborah L. Buzzeo, all of Stamford, as well as her loving granddaughter Ashley Buzzeo Riddle and her husband Jason of Stamford and her two sisters Ellen Petrilli of Spokane, WA and Karen Bennard of FL.
Besides her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Charles A. Zito, a sister Evelyn Francis and a brother John “Jack” Rea.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the Evangelical Community Church, 1155 Newfield Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Pastor Juan Paniagua. There will be no calling hours and Interment will be private.
