Jeffrey “JAZZY” Allan Carswell, 58, of Stamford passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Jeffrey was born on September 27, 1959 in Peru, Indiana to Dave and Sue Holmes Carswell.
He leaves behind the love of his life, wife Dawn Williams Carswell of thirty four years and their four children, Tejay Carswell and his wife Jessica of Pataskala, Ohio, Cory and Dylan Carswell and Mackenzie Carswell all of Stamford.
He was a loving grandfather “Gumpy” to two beautiful grandchildren, Everett and Vivienne. Besides his parents, Dave and Sue, Jeffrey was also survived by his brother Michael Carswell and his wife Heather and their four children of Savannah, GA and a large loving family in Stamford and Indiana.
He was cherished and loved by countless family and friends. He dedicated twenty five years of service to Aquarion Water Co, where he was respected by his co-workers and friends. Jazzy spent his life with his wife Dawn, always doing countless projects and having fun with his family and friends. Jazzy always enjoyed doing for and helping others. He will be greatly missed.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM in celebration of Jazzy’s life. A service will be held at 12:30 PM with Pastor Patrick Collins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jeffrey’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
