Joan Camurati

Joan Camurati, 89, of Stamford passed away on March 10, 2006. Born in Stamford, February 12, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Marie Bocadoro Nosenzo.
She was a retired factory worker at Elinco. She was also a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Ezzo and her husband Joseph of Stamford; a sister Ann Christiansen and her husband Fred of Southbury; five grandchildren, Carl Ezzo, Christopher Chirco, Gina Ezzo, Joseph Ezzo, Jr., and Kevin Ezzo; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Carol Camurati Chirco; two sisters, Mary Humber and Julie Nosenzo; and a brother Hugo Nosenzo.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 9:20 AM on Tuesday March 14, 2006, and proceed to St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday March 13, from 4:00 8:00 PM.
