Jody O'Brien

Jody Ann O’Brien, 54, of Southbury, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2013. Jody was born in Sumpter, South Carolina to Lily Ann Pirro and the late Gerald D. Hogan. Jody was formally a resident of Southbury and Stamford and enjoyed crafts.
Jody is survived by her mother Lily Ann Cichon-O’Connell of Stamford, her grandmother, Lena R. Cocchia of Stamford; her sister, Susan Baldwin of Bridgeport; her two daughters, Michelle Pia-Lawson, of Naugatuck and Rachael O’Brien of Southbury; two sons, Wayne Dyer of Maine and Richard O’Brien of Watertown; as well as two granddaughters, Felicia Ojeda and Emily Lawson.
Besides her father, Jody is predeceased by her step-father Richard J. Cichon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday October 5, 2013 at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, 1200 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT at 10:00AM. Interment will be private. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT is honored to assist the O’Brien family with the arrangements.
