John Kalinowski
January 24, 1956 — August 21, 2009
John Kalinowski, 53, of Stamford, passed away on August 21, 2009. Born in Poland on January 24, 1956, he was the son of the late Stanislaw and Gladys Kropiewnicki Kalinowski.
He worked at the Morse Moving Company for over 25 years. Most recently he worked for Joyce Van Lines in Greenwich, CT.
John is survived by two sons, John P. & Jason P. Kalinowski; and Linda Doherty; a sister, Lucy Scicchitano; and a brother, Raymond Kalinowski, all of Stamford. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Wieslawa (Vera) Mocarski and Jadwiga Pruszko.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, August 26, from 5:00 �" 7:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 PM with the Rev. David J. Riley officiating. Interment will be private.
