John M. Robertson

John M. Robertson, 78, died on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence. Born December 6, 1928 in Stamford, he was the son of the late James and Janet Baxter Robertson.
John was a retired Operations Manager for RTA International. He was the former president of Colonial Holding Co. and a member of the YMCA and Old Timers. John was also a Veteran of the US Army Air Corps having served in WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne L. Robertson of Stamford; and a sister, Helen Robertson also of Stamford.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 3:00 7:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 10:20 AM on Thursday, November 15, 2007 and proceed to St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at St. Marys Cemetery, New Holland Avenue, Lancaster, PA.
