John Wuchiski
October 2, 1928 — July 2, 2015
John C. Wuchiski, 86, a former resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Carolton Chronic Convalescent Hospital in Fairfield. He was born in Stamford on October 2, 1928 to the late Anthony and Catherine Bogden Wujcicki.
John was a carpenter for many years before his retirement. He was a Korean War veteran having served in the US Army.
John is survived by his loving daughters, Donna J. Wuchiski of Norwalk and Janet S. Wuchiski Lewis and her husband Peter of Stratford and his brother Gene Wuchiski of Stamford.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Virginia Ogrodowczyk Wuchiski in 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 4 Pulaski Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN 38105
