Ms. Johnnie Mae McCord, 78, of Stamford ,known affectionately as “Mickey” was born on January 28, 1934 in New York City to the late Kathleen and John McKelvy. After a faithful fight the death angel peacefully came for her on the afternoon of Thursday, April 26, 2012 at The William & Sally Tandet Center, Stamford.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her ex-husband Robert Lee McCord of Stamford, her only daughter Cassandra “Sandi” Williams and her husband Vernon (Pete) Williams of Stamford; three grandsons, Kevin McKelvy and Marcus Williams of Stamford, Vernon (Chris) Williams and his wife of Las Vegas, NV; four great grandchildren, Koran McKelvy, Jayden Williams, Deajah Williams and Veronica Williams,along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM , following with a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
