Jose Manuel Duron, 87, of Stamford passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Smith House Health Care Center, Stamford. He was born on May 4, 1926 in Honduras to the late Jose Romon and Alice Bertha Cyr Duron.
Jose was employed as an Inspector for the US Government with the Food and Drug Administration for many years before his retirement. He was a US Army veteran, having served during WW II.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 9:30 AM at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. There are no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory ,104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 is handling the funeral arrangements.
