Joseph Demarsico, Sr.
November 13, 1936 — December 16, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Michael DeMarsico, Sr. announces his passing after a brief illness, on Saturday December 16th 2017 at the age of 81 years. Joe (as he was known to everyone) was born on November 13th, 1936 in Toronto Ontario.
In 1964, he relocated to Stamford CT with his family and has been a lifelong resident ever since. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Angelina DeMarsico. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Rosalind and his children, Joseph, Perry and Michael and daughter in laws Lori and Rachel. He will also be fondly remembered by his two sisters, Victoria and Marie.
Joe graduated from the University of Toronto in 1958 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. During the span of his career he was involved in worldwide projects which included international travel to Japan, Holland, Germany, England, Israel, South Africa and several other places. Joe was highly respected by his colleagues. Joe was most known for his vast knowledge about nutrition and health, which he would take every opportunity to share that knowledge with others. His passing is a great loss to his family and friends.
