Joseph R. Mancusi, 64, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. He was born in Stamford on June 11, 1950 to the late Anthony and Rose Mancusi.
Joseph is survived by his loving sister, Angela Christofor and her husband Alexander of Norwalk, his aunt Josephine Ganino of Stamford, a nephew Steven Christofor and his wife Cara of Ridgefield and a niece Alexandra Christofor of Norwalk. He is also survived by many other cousins, especially Paula Rabita who provided loving care for Joey over the years.
Joey was a loving brother, loved music and always made anyone he came in contact with laugh. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Besides his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his brother Anthony Mancusi.
A Prayer service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 11:30 AM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien.
