Joseph Pierson

Joseph J. Pierson, 40, a lifelong Stamford resident passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. He was born in Stamford on March 13, 1972 to James E. and Joanne Simon Pierson.
Joe was a graduate of Westhill High School, Class of 1990 and had attended Ithaca College. He was an athlete, a musician and avid fisherman. He was an employee of Oxford Health Plans and then went on to become a Senior Manager/ Fullfillment Operations with Affinion Group.
Besides his loving parents, James E. and Joanne Simon Pierson ,he is also survived by his loving sister Janice Pierson, his loving niece Amber Vines, and his lifelong partner Eloisa Munter.
Joe was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Joseph and Frances Engenito Simon and his paternal grandparents Ralph and Doris Sanford Merchant.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
