Joseph Rodriguez
August 29, 1962 — July 20, 2015
Joseph Anthony Rodriguez, 52, of Unionville CT, passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on July 20, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Joseph was born in New York, NY on August 29, 1962 the son of Joseph M. and Estrella Gonzalez Rodriguez.
Joseph was a loving brother who will be sorely missed. After a tragic accident that left him paralyzed at the age of twenty, Joe persevered and lived a full life. He was always striving toward self improvement in his life made apparent by his attending college and excelling as a self employed cook. Joe entered into the United States Army having gone through basic training and was honorably discharged after his accident.
Besides his parents he is survived by his siblings Priscilla Rodriguez-Bahr of St. Johnsville, NY, John Kennedy Rodriguez of Danbury, CT, Janet Rodriguez of Danbury, CT, Joann “Chickie” Rodriguez of Naugatuck, CT. Joseph is also survived by his son Matthew Piccinini.
