Josephine Preli

Josephine Preli, 77, a life long resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2008. Born in Stamford on April 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena Forlenza Presutto.
Josephine worked as a Secretary of Medical Records for St. Josephs Hospital for 25 years before retiring.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Preli of Stamford; a brother, Salvatore Presutto of Stamford; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Aldo Preli, Jr.; her husband, Aldo Preli, Sr.; and her brother, Anthony Presutto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, is handling the arrangements.
