Joyce Klenoff of Stamford, CT passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014 surrounded by family after a long illness. Joyce was born on April 5, 1945 in Paterson, New Jersey. She received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University, and then received a master’s degree in education from Wheelock College. She was an elementary school teacher who loved children.
Joyce is survived by Bruce, her husband of 46 years, her mother Perle Potash, sisters Marlin and Barbara and her loving children; Heather, Jason and Mindy and grandchildren Tamar, Sydney, Sam and Alex.
A graveside service will be held TODAY, Monday October 6, 2014 at 11:30AM at Beth Moses Cemetery, Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale, NY. The family will sit Shiva, at the family residence, 37 Hannah’s Road, Stamford, CT on Monday October 6, 2014 from 2:30 to 8:30PM, Tuesday October 7, 2014 from 11:00AM to 4:00PM and 5:30 to 8:30PM and Wednesday October 8, 2014 from 11:00AM to 4:00PM.The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT is honored to assist the Klenoff family with the arrangements.
