Judith Lorusso Vozzella

Judith LoRusso Vozzella, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 10, 2006. Born on January 26, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo & Filomena Mariano LoRusso.

She worked at Clairol of Stamford until her retirement.

Judy is survived by her husband, Theodore �"Teddy” Vozzella, Sr. of Stamford; two daughters, Kathryn Ferullo and her husband Robert of Stamford and Linda Vozzella and her life partner, Kathryn Scalise of Plano, TX. She is also survived by five sons; Ted Vozzella, Jr. and his wife, Sue of Atlanta, GA; Patrick Vozzella of Southbury; James Vozzella and his wife, Linda of Shreveport, LA, Thomas Vozzella and his companion, Sandra Pia of Stamford and Michael Vozzella and his wife Bridgette of Polk City, FL. She is survived by two brothers, John LoRusso of Stamford and James LoRusso of Orange, CT. Thirteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren and a close family friend, Eugene DuCharme of Shreveport, LA also survive.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by four brothers Michael, Dominick, Louis and Nicholas LoRusso; and a sister, Felicia Panucci.

A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford at 10:00AM on Monday August 14th and proceed to St. Thomas More RC Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien, CT where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery Mausoleum, Darien, CT. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday August 13, 2006 between the hours of 3 – 7PM. www.cognetta.com
