Katherine (Bratsenis) Carlini entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Stamford, CT. Katherine was born on December 3, 1920 in Lowell, MA to the late George E and Panagiota Moskovites Bratsenis.
She was married for 42 years to the late William A. Carlini, and is predeceased by her brothers Louis, John, and Michael Bratsenis. Katherine was a Stamford resident since 1926. She attended Stamford schools and Columbia University. She worked for many years in various accounting positions, starting in New York City at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, and Company and later at several Stamford-area firms.
She is proud of her Greek heritage and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Katherine is survived by her daughter Joanne Carlini King and husband James, of Wilton; Her daughter Pandora Carlini Wojick and husband Greg of Wilton; her beloved grandchildren Katherine Carlini King, Danielle Carlini King, Kara Carlini Wojick, Christopher Carlini Wojick; her sister-in-law Annette Carlini Perito and husband Rocky; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may attend a funeral service which will be held on Tuesday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Archangels at 1527 Bedford Street, Stamford. Interment will the follow at Woodland Cemetery, Stamford. There will be no calling hours. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Church of the Archangels, 1527 Bedford Street, Stamford, CT 06905. The Nicholas F.
