Katherine Schley Thompson

Katherine Schley Thompson, 87, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT. Born on September 18, 1919 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Golich Schley.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Florre of Rutland, VT; Katherine Woodstead of Bedford, NY; and Donna Hall of Shelton, CT; two sons, Richard D. Thompson of Stamford; and Robert R. Thompson of Shelton; a sister, Dorothy Campbell of Rowlett, TX; and a brother, Henry Schley of Kissimmee, FL. Ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, John A. Thompson.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 and proceed to Pound Ridge Community Church, Pound Ridge, NY, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM.
