Kathleen Z. Morse, 65, of Stamford passed away peacefully at the Hospital for Special Care in Hartford, CT on Friday, December 30, 2016. She was born on April 2, 1951 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Charles W. and Helen Rzaski Zylinsky.
Kathleen was a graduate of Bloomfield College, Class of 1973. She was a Supervisor at U.S.F. & G. for twenty years and also volunteered at the Stamford Public Schools, as well as a world traveler.
She is survived by her devoted husband Fr. Jonathan K. Morse of Maryland, her loving children Charlanne M. Morse of Prague, Czech Republic and Justin G. Morse of Stamford and a brother Charles W. Zylinsky, Jr. of North Arlington, NJ
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 6, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael’s Church, 624 Page Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ with one hour of visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM prior to Mass. Fr. Jonathan K. Morse will officiate. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Kathleen’s memory to St. Camillus Health Center, 494 Elm Street, Stamford, CT 06902 or to the National Multiple Sclerosis, 659 Tower Avenue, First Floor, Hartford, CT 06112 or to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
