Kenneth W. Foster, 85, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Stamford Hospital. He was born in Stamford on October 6, 1930 to the late George and Evelyn Huested Foster.
Kenneth was a Data Technician at SNET for many years before retiring. He served with the US Marines in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of sixty plus years Mary Sullo Foster of Stamford, a son Brian Foster and his wife wife Cynthia of Kansas and a daughter Leslie Foster of Trumbull, as well as five grandchildren Natalie, Michael, Jesse, Andrew and Sarah.
Besides his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by two sisters Elizabeth Johnson and Althea Moger.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 12:00-4:00 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kenneth’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
