Kenneth Mrowka

Kenneth S. Mrowka, 71 a former resident of Stamford, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014, after a lengthy illness, with his devoted fiancée by his side.
Born on January 10, 1943 to the late Kenneth and Frieda Weber Mrowka in Williamsville, NY, he was a devout parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Church.
He served in the United States Air Force for five years and was honorably discharged. He graduated from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute in Buffalo, NY. He was successfully engaged in corporate management, marketing and real estate investments.
He will be remembered for his love of life, optimism and his deep compassion and concern for the welfare of others.
He is survived by his fiancée, Linda Varrone, four brothers Dave Mrowka, Michael Mrowka and his wife, Ruthanne, Gary Mrowka and his wife, Rita and Larry Mrowka,along with aunts, uncles, nieces ,nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jack Mrowka.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 and proceed to St Clement of Rome Church, 535 Fairfield Avenue,Stamford for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00AM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Greenwich with full military honors. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00PM.
