Kevin Bella

Kevin W. Bella, 13, of Stamford was called home by God to be with his father in the heavens above on Thursday, August 16, 2012. He was born on September 29, 1998 in Stamford to Deborah L. Masilotti Bella and the late Kevin J. Bella.
Kevin was a student at Cloonan Middle School. Kevie, our little man, also known as Norton was the light and sunshine of our lives. He will never be forgotten and was a special angel who touched the lives of everyone he met with his infectious smile. He had a love of being outdoors. He was our little handy man around the house and picked up the responsibility on his own accord of being the man around the house after his father’s passing. He would mow the lawn, clean the pool and fixed whatever was needed to be repaired. When he was not tending to the house or the yard, Kevie and Brandon were taking apart their bikes and modifying them if they were not riding them. Kevie was like a sponge who absorbed everything he learned. He would sit and watch the history channel for hours and would then test us. He also loved music and hanging out with his friends. We will never forget the time we shared or love we hold in our hearts for such a genuine angel.
He is survived by his loving mother, Deborah L. Bella, two loving sisters Jaclyn R. and Nicole L. Bella of Stamford and a loving brother Brandon J. Bella of Stamford; two uncles William Masilotti, III and his wife Jennifer of Stamford and Edward Bella of Stamford; a step uncle Sean Hartnett and his wife Robin; an aunt JoAnne Lopez and his paternal grandfather Edward Bella and his wife Rosemary. Also many cousins also surviving.
Besides his father Kevin J. Bella, Kevin was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents William and Mary Ellen Masilotti, Jr.
A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 at 10:20 AM on Friday, August 24, 2012 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Leo Parish, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
