Kyle J. Cruz, 17, of Stamford passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2013. Kyle was born in New York, NY on December 28, 1995. Kyle was a senior at Stamford High School and was involved in football, track and baseball.
Kyle is survived by his loving father Damian J. Cruz and his wife Ivonne of Stamford, his loving mother Dawn Marie Pecora of Stamford his sister Amber Cruz and brother Sabatino Cruz, both of Stamford, his maternal grandparents Roy and Mary Ellen Pataro of Kent, NY, paternal grandparents Damian Cruz and Aida of Deltona, FL and Carol Kapusta of Deerfield Beach, FL, great grandmother Francine Sperle of L.I, NY, step grandparents Ronald DelMazzio and Elsa and a step great grandfather Damaso Serpa all of Stamford; uncles Lorenzo Cruz of Puerto Rico, Richard DelMazzio and Susan of Stamford, Michael Sabatino of Port Chester, NY, aunts Marianne Purdy of Stratford, CT, Wanda Cruz of Westport, CT, Sandra Cruz of Puerto Rico, John and Robin Ruggiero of L.I, NY. Also his cousins Jason, Tanya and Heather Lynch including several other cousins survive.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 2:00-6:00 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM at The First Congregational Church, 1 Walton Place, Stamford with Pastor Blaine Edele officiating. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
