Laura Bracchi, 98, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Stamford on January 1, 1916 to the late Frank and Eugenia Tuccinardi LaRocca.
Laura is survived by her loving daughters Joanna Bracchi Nowlan of St. Petersburg, FL, Donna Bracchi Terenzio of Fort Lauderdale, FL, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and her brother Joseph LaRocca of FL.
Besides her parents, Laura was predeceased by her husband of almost sixty years Domenic Bracchi in 1996.
Private Entombment will be held at St. John’s Mausoleum, Darien. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a date and time to be announced. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Bracchi family with the arrangements.
