Leo J. Carlucci

Leo J. Carlucci, 58, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Stamford Hospital. Born November 4, 1949 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Dominick and Lucy Tucci Carlucci.
Leo was a graduate of Stamford Catholic High School, Class of 1967 and New York University, Class of 1971. Besides being a professional musician, he was formerly a music teacher at Cloonan Middle School through the 1970s and taught with Project Music, a summer music program, in Stamford. He served on the Stamford Board of Representatives in the mid 1970s, was a sales representative for Xerox of Stamford, and most recently a Manager at Fastenal, Inc. an Industrial Supply Company.
He is survived by his son, Dominick Carlucci, and a daughter, Angela Carlucci, both of Brooklyn, NY; a sister, Marguerite Musilli of Stamford, and her husband, Cesare; a mother-in-law, Estelle Moulketis of Stamford; a brother-in-law, Dr. Thomas Moulketis of Fairfield and his wife, Melissa; three nieces, Caterina DiLorenzo of Stamford; Lucia Musilli of Arlington, MA; Gina Musilli of Stamford. Several aunts and uncles and cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn Moulketis Carlucci.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Tuesday, October 14 from 4-8 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:20 AM on Wednesday, October 15 and proceed to Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
