Leonard D. Marchello, 88, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2007. A lifelong Stamford resident, Mr. Marchello was a decorated Veteran of the US Army having served in World War II, an employee of Electrolux Corporation, Perkin Elmer and a 20 year employee of the City of Stamford.
He was predeceased by his wife, Yolanda (Ginolfi) Marchello; and sisters, Sally and Jane Attanasio and Lynn Gladstone.
He is survived by his children, Janice (Mark) Preston of Fairport, New York; and Dennis (Debbie) Marchello of Stamford. He is also survived by his four granddaughters, Melissa (John) Bowie and Jennifer Preston; and Lauren and Elizabeth Marchello. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends but his stories will live on forever.
