Lou Carl Buccino

Lou Carl E. Buccino, 65, of Torrington and formerly of Stamford passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. He was born in Stamford on September 29, 1955 to the late Anthony and Dorothy Buccino.
Lou was a loving, caring and kind father. He will forever be celebrated for his great sense of humor, positive vibes and the constant sense of joy he provided those around him.
He is survived by his loving children, Michael A. Buccino and Matthew E. Buccino, both of Stamford and his partner, Lynette Kuss of Torrington. He is also survived by Rocco Bria, a close friend of his sons whom he treated as his own son.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, John Buccino.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel RC Church, 914 Newfield Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carl’s memory to SPEF, Stamford Public Education Foundation, 177 Broad Street, Stamford, CT 06901
