Louis J. Rotante

Louis J. Rotante, 92, died on Friday February 24, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. Born on August 10, 1913, he was the son of the late Paul and Sebastiana Caruso Rotante in Stamford.
He was a retired truck driver for Standard News. Louis was a United States Veteran of World War II, serving in the 5th Armored Division.
He is survived by his wife Theresa Rotante of Stamford; a daughter Lois Rumble and her husband Paul; two grandchildren, Julie Rumble and Stephen Rumble; and a sister Lucy Attanasio.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by three sisters, Josephine, Mary and Helen; and five brothers, John, Joseph, Ralph, Salvatore, and Thomas.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Monday February 27 from 10:00 11:00 AM. A funeral procession will immediately follow, and proceed to St. Leos Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM.
