Louise Demarco

Louise A. DeMarco, 95, a former resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Milford Health Care Center. She was born in Stamford on August 8, 1919 to the late Domenico and Pasqualina Zogarola Pontanella.
Louise was employed at Machlett Laboratory as an assembler until her retirement. She was a member of the Milford Senior Citizen Center and enjoyed knitting,crocheting and baking for her family.
She is survived by her loving children Kathy Ann Inzitari and her husband Robert of Milford, CT, Michael A. DeMarco, Jr. of Stamford, Robert D. DeMarco of Norwalk and seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by her husband Michael A. DeMarco, Sr., a sister Sarah Nolan and a brother Joseph Pontanella.
A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 9:30AM for a Mass of Christain Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Cecilia,1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
