Lucille J. Koss

Lucille J. Koss, 85, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Stamford Hospital. Born May 8, 1923 in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Louis C. and Alice OHara Papesca.
Lucille was a former fashion designer. She was also an avid gardener, and enjoyed swimming and painting. She was an animal lover and a talented interior designer. Lucille was extremely caring and giving and was the greatest mother in the world.
She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Koss of Greenwich; a son, Steven L. Koss and his wife Connie of Stamford; a sister, Ruth Eichler of Bronx, NY; two brothers, Joseph Papesca of Pompano Beach, FL; and Robert Papesca of Middletown, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Audrey Morgan, Angel Buffamonte and Vivian White; and a brother, Paul Papesca.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 2:00 6:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday, October 27, 2008 and proceed to St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
