Lucy Imbrogno
January 29, 1926 — July 27, 2012
Lucy Imbrogno, 86, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2012. Lucy was born in Stamford, the daughter of the late Donato and Maria Carissima Colangelo. She was a resident of Greenwich for several years.
Besides her parents Lucy is predeceased by her husband Joseph L. Imbrogno, Sr., one son, Joseph L. Imbrogno Jr., and two brothers, Danny Colangelo and Jimmy Colangelo. Lucy is survived by one son, Robert Imbrogno, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, 1170 Shippan Ave. Stamford, on Friday August 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Lucy’s memory to the River House, 125 ½ River Road Ext., Cos Cob, CT 06807 or to the Smith House Recreational Fund, 88 Rock Rimmon Road, Stamford, CT 06903.
