Lucy C. Lovello
June 21, 1800 — July 28, 2007
Lucy C. Lovello, a Stamford native, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Stamford Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Francesco and Laura Marie Pace Lovello.
Lucy was a retired proof reader for the Stamford Advocate. She also held various clerical positions for many local companies. She was a parishioner of St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church and a member of St. Leos Senior Group.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Peter, Angelo, Anthony and William Lovello; and three sisters, Anna Martinelli; Nellie Rinaldi; and Jennie Genovese.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford with Reverend Gill Babeu officiating. Interment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Darien. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to Smith House, 88 Rockrimmon Road, Stamford, CT 06903 or St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902.
