Luiz Buono

Luiz Antonio Lopes Buono, 51, of Stamford passed away peacefully on March 1, 2018 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York City. Luiz was born in Pocos de Caldas, Brazil on December 10, 1966 to the late Benedicto and Eutalia Lopes Buono.
Luiz was employed as an Electrician at Camsan Inc. of Stamford for many years and previously at Manuso Electric. Luiz loved spending time with his family at the beach, watching the World Cup, and had a passion for motorcycles. Luiz was a very loving and devoted father and husband.
He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Burton Buono, his loving, children Benedicto (Ben) and Kathleen Buono all of Stamford, as well as his brothers, Francisco and Tadeo Lopes Buono of Brazil. Also surviving are several cousins, niece and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private.
